La funda de acero inoxidable permite que la sonda mida temperaturas m\u00e1s altas que las sondas con cables flexibles. El mango tambi\u00e9n le permite aplicar una presi\u00f3n superficial m\u00e1s focalizada sin tener la mano cerca de la fuente. El 80PK-26 puede utilizarse con cualquier instrumento de medici\u00f3n de temperatura que est\u00e9 dise\u00f1ado para aceptar termopares de tipo K y que tenga una entrada de conector en miniatura.
